What causes dog bacteria allergies?

Dog bacteria allergies are caused by various bacteria known as Staphylococcus commonly referred to as Staph. Staph is common in many areas on the dog’s skin and usually presents no problem.
Fortunately these bacteria are not contagious to other pets or humans.

Staph is usually not a problem for a healthy dog, but if the animal is fighting some other problem and breaks the skin, dog bacteria problems can arise and be anywhere from mild to severe depending on how long the dog has had the bacterial problem and what else is going on with the dog’s immune system.
Most dog bacteria skin infections are secondary to other diseases your dog may have. Diseases such as parasitism, allergies, hormonal disorders, and, any abnormality in the dog’s immune system can lead to
dog bacteria problems for both the dog, and the dog owner.

Again, it is up to the responsible pet owner to perform inspections or their pet’s skin, and more. Only through daily checks on your pet can some of these problems be avoided. You must see to your pet’s well-being and overall health to help your pet from contracting dog bacteria allergies.

If your pet is suffering from food, fungal, contact, or other form of allergy, the scratching can break the skin leading to other allergies. If the dog has folds of skin, such as a Chinese Shar Pei, the possibility of dog bacteria problems are increased. Constant monitoring of the animal for any change in skin or habits is a sign that you need to check the dog more closely.

While the Staph bacteria are usually present on the animal, the dog might become more sensitive to the bacteria over time, which can cause dog bacteria allergies. Also, if there is an underlying condition causing the dog to itch, scratch, or bite, which can break the skin, the possibility of the dog contracting a dog bacteria allergy goes up.

The cause of dog bacteria being primarily from the staph bacteria, there are many reasons why the dog can have an overactive immune response to any other allergy that causes the dog to itch and bite its way to more severe allergies, like dog bacteria allergies.

It is on with diligence on the part of the pet owner that any dog allergy be caught early and possible stop the progression of that allergy causing even more severe problems.
